Legal notice
TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
Every HEELSIDE P1 Paw Trimmer is covered for two years from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship.
WHAT IS COVERED
The motor, the battery, the LED, the charging circuit and the housing. If any of them fails in normal use inside two years, we replace the trimmer. You do not pay shipping either way, and you do not need the original packaging.
If the battery will no longer hold a charge through a normal trim, that counts as a failure and is covered.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The cutter head is a wear part. It is sharp for roughly a year of monthly trims on one dog, less on a thick double coat, and a replacement is $14. Blunting is not a fault.
Also not covered: damage from dropping the trimmer, from forcing the head against a pad or a nail, from opening the body, or from immersion beyond rinsing the head under a running tap.
HOW TO CLAIM
Email support@heelside.com with your order number and a short description of what the trimmer is doing — a ten-second video is worth more than a paragraph. We reply within 24 hours. Most claims are resolved with a replacement in the post the same week; we do not make you send the old one back first unless we need to see it.
WHO IS COVERED
The warranty belongs to the original purchaser and does not transfer with a resale. It applies to trimmers bought directly from heelside.com.
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not replace them.
SAFETY — READ BEFORE THE FIRST TRIM
The P1 removes the fur that has grown past your dog's paw pads. It is not a nail clipper and it is not a medical device.
Work at floor level, not on a table, and never on a dog that is struggling. Let the dog hear the motor running before it touches a paw. Hold the head flat against the fur — do not press it down onto a pad, into the webbing, or against a nail.
Stop and see a vet instead of trimming if the paw is swollen, the pad is cracked or discoloured, there is any broken skin, or the dog is limping or licking the foot persistently.
Rinse the head under a running tap and let it dry before storing. Do not submerge the body. Keep the trimmer out of reach of children and do not leave it charging unattended overnight.
